क्षीरनीरवदभेदरूपतस्तिष्ठतोरपि च देहदेहिनोः ।
भेद एव यदि भेदवत्स्वलं बाह्यवस्तुषु वदात्र का कथा ॥२५३॥
अन्वयार्थ : जब कि दूध और पानी के समान अभेदस्वरूप से रहने वाले शरीर और शरीरधारी इन दोनों में ही अत्यन्त भेद है तब भिन्न बाह्य वस्तुओं की-स्त्री,पुत्र, मित्र एवं धन-सम्पत्ति आदि की तो बात ही क्या है; बताओ। अर्थात् वे तो भिन्न हैं ही ॥२५३॥
Meaning : When there is absolute distinction between the body and the possessor of the body that live together inseparably like the milk and the water, what can be said about the obviously distinct objects, like the wife, the son, the friend, the wealth, etc.?
