
पच्चुप्पण्णं भावं विगयभविस्सेहिं जं सम्मण्णेइ ।
एयं पडुच्चवयणं दव्वंतरणिस्सियं जं च ॥3॥
दव्वं जहा परिणयं तहेव अस्थि त्ति तम्मि समयम्मि ।
विगयभविस्सेहि उ पज्जएहिं भयणा विभयणा वा ॥4॥
अन्वयार्थ : [जं] जो वचन [पच्चुप्पण्णं] वर्तमान [भाव] पर्याय का [विगयभविस्सेहिं] अतीत तथा भावी पर्याय के साथ से [समण्णेइ] समन्वय करता है [च] और [दव्वंतरणिस्सियं] अन्य द्रव्यों से बाहर है [जं] जो [एयं] यह [पडुच्चवयणं] प्रतीत्यवचन है ।
[जहा] जिस प्रकार [दव्वं] द्रव्य [परिणयं] परिणत हुआ [तम्मि समयम्मि] उस-उस समय में [तहेव] उसी प्रकार ही [अत्थि] है [त्ति] इस प्रकार [उ] तो [विगयभविस्सेहि] अतीत और भविष्यत् काल की [पज्जएहिं] पर्यायों के साथ [भयणा] अभेद [वा] और [विभयणा] भेद भी है ।
Meaning : Those words that connect the present change of a thing with its past and future changes and those words that synthetise the general running through all the individuals are words that are reliable or authentic.
Because although the present change of a certain thing apparently has not any relation to the changes of that thing in past or in future still the truth is that the present change has definitely a relation with the past and future changes of that thing.
