णत्थि ण णिच्चो ण कुणइ कयं ण वेएइ णत्थि णिव्वाणं ।
णत्थि य मोक्खोवाओ छ म्मिच्छत्तस्स ठाणाइं ॥54॥
अत्थि अविणासधम्मी करेइ वेएइ अत्थि णिव्वाणं ।
अत्थि य मोक्खोवाओ छ स्सम्मत्तस्स ठाणाइं ॥55॥
अन्वयार्थ : [णत्थि] नहीं है [णिच्चो ण] नित्य नहीं है [कुणइ] कर्ता [कयं] कार्य [ण] नहीं करता [ण] नहीं [वेएइ] फल भोगता है [णिव्वाणं णत्थि] निर्वाण नहीं है [य] और [मोक्खोवाओ णत्थि] मोक्ष का उपाय नहीं है [छम्मिच्छत्तस्स] मिथ्यात्व के ये छह [ठाणाईं] स्थान हैं ।
[अत्थि] है [अविणासधम्मी] अविनाशी स्वभाव [करेइ] कर्ता है [वेएइ] भोगता है [णिव्वाण] निर्वाण है, और [मोक्खोवाओ] मोक्ष का उपाय है [छ स्सम्मत्तस्स] सम्यक्त्व के छह [ठाणाइं] स्थान हैं ।
Meaning : There is no soul; It is not eternal ; It does not do ; It does not experience ; It has no emancipation; and there is no remedy for emancipation, these six theories are receptacles of false knowledge.
There is soul; It is eternal : It does; It experiences; It can be liberated and there is a remedy for liberation -- all these six theories are abodes of right knowledge.
